Default Snapping Grill Back in 2010 Ram

I just finished installing HIDs in my truck. Unfortunately, I had a HELL OF A TIME trying to get the grill to snap back in. I can see its two clips on both bottom edges of the grill, but can't seem to get them both inserted. I even had my daugther hold one side when it was latched while I worked on the other. We actually had it a few times in which I carefully started putting the bolts back in the top not doing one side more than the other just to have one side "pop" back out. I finally gave up and currently have one side snapped in along with all the bolts and shroud back in place so its not going anywhere, but sure would like to have it fully snapped in place like its suppose to be. Am I missing or forgot something?

INSTALLATION (From the service manual)

1. Position the grille onto the front of the vehicle and locate using the tab (4). 2. Working from behind the grille, make sure the lower tabs (3) are positioned through the slots in the fascia. 3. Seat the lower spring clips (2) fully.

I swapped the chrome for the body color grill and those bottom clips are a complete PITA !! I just had to keep working both sides of the bottom clips while paying on my back under the front of the truck.

Yes they are a PITA!! Thanks for the diagram. So just to make sure I understand, the clips labeled (3) are slotted and insert into holes? I didn't see any slots in the Fascia, but I was also trying to install facing forward leaning OVER the top of the grill and not from the bottom.

They go in pretty hard, do one side then the other, make sure you`re aligned,
you`ll have to give it a pretty hefty push inward, but it`ll go
