Default Tire Pressure Sensors

Are the tire pressure sensors the same on a 2008 Ram as on a 2010 Ram? The reason I ask is that I am thinking of buying a set of rims and tires and dont really want to change the sensors.

Nope, they are not the same. I had a 2008 that I traded in and I had them swap my wheels and tires over. Well, guess what? The old sensors are not recognized by the 2010 truck! Bummer!

Are the 2010 20s sensors compatible with 2009 setup? I had 17s. I just put the 20s on a week ago and everything was good till yesterday when the light came on.
