Windshield Washer Doesn't Work
Hello,
I have an 09 Ram 1500. The wipers work but I don't get any fluid. I also do not hear any pumping noise when engaging the fluid. I checked the fuse and it is fine. I assume the pump is shot? If so, is this covered under warranty as a second owner? The truck is under 36K. If not, is this an easy fix/replacement?
Thanks is advance.
Chad.

That would be a warranty item. 2, 3 4th owner would not matter if you are still in 3 years 36K. It is the lifetime drive train that you do not have being the 2nd owner of a 2009.
Does it have fliud? There is another post where someone put the fluid in their radiator.... I am just saying

Might be frozen depending on where you live. Some oil change places have a nasty habit of using blue water in the summer rather than the real stuff. Had mine freeze up solid once in a previous car.
And yes, I'm also one of the people who accidentaly dumped a quart or so of washer fluid in the coolant reservoir

yea if you are in a cold area, could be frozen, mine did that when i did not bleed all the water out before i went north, drained what I thought was most of it out, refilled it with washer fluid. but water was in the pump still (forgot to bleed the system to get the washer fluid into the pump and lines) it froze had to unfreeze it by pouring hot water over the reseviour think about 3 gallons of scalding hot water hat it going in 10 min.
