Question Turning off speed sensitive volume control???

2010 2500HD...can someone tell me how to turn OFF the speed sensitive volume control on my radio/nav system? (Model # RER Radio/Nav) Dealership told me that my model of truck AND Nav does not come equipped with the feature. I searched all through the radio and manual for the feature and can't find it.

Funny story !!! I have the same Radio/Nav and this used to bug the crap out of me... There is no setting you just have to live with it...

I really don't notice it much anymore unless I'm looking to hear it...I also asked this question before..

You won't find mention of the feature anywhere (online, manual, brochure, etc), but I swear that mine does it too. I've never seen a setting in the EVIC or my RBZ radio that relates to it, so we're pretty much stuck with things as they are.

The radio has to get the signal from some where to increase the volume. My guess is a wheel speed sensor or the body control module. When I get to work on Monday I will pull the wiring dia. and check to see if there is a wire that can be pulled from the plug in the back of the RER to disconnect the speed volume. This feature bugs me too.

The reason I would call it a feature is because all of the other vehicles that I have owned in the past you were able to turn this function on or off. All I know is that it drives me crazy for the volume to go up and down!! That would be nice U8racing if you can find that out...

Check with your local mental hospital, they have drugs to take care of the problem (lol)
