Dual inlet Dual outlet mufflers

I am new here and i have a 2010 ram mango tango pearl sport i wanted to put a dual inlet and dual outlet muffler on the truck but the guy at the muffler shop seemed nervous about doing it. I was wondering if any one has done this yet and if so did they have any problems?
