I purchased a Solid Fold bed cover last week and it arrived yesterday. I wasn't very pleased. Cover had 4 scratches, 1 missing seal, 2 damaged seals, and 2 seals they were not glued on correctly. I expected a better cover for $760. No damage to the box, so it had to of left the factory in this condition. I called Extang and they said they would mail me replacement seals. I thought about repairing it myself, but I shouldn't have to repair a $760 bed cover. Looking to return the cover Monday and get a refund.

 

Poor quality off the line,and a pissed off customer is what it sounds like to me!I would return it as well.You shouldn't have to repair someone's mistake.LOL,LOL!!!!You should have asked them if they were going to pay you to install the new seals!!I hope your return goes well,without any hassle.If you like this extang cover,try a different distributor.

 

I've had two different Extang covers and the one time I had a problem (I broke a corner bracket about a year after I bought a cover) I called them to purchase the part and they express mailed a pair to me free of charge... excellent customer service the one and only time I needed it!
