Mine started acting up when the temp hit zero or so. I pumped them up to 38psi with good ol' air and they stopped complaining.
-32F here the other night.

You'd think this big Hemi would heat up a bit faster. The engine temp never got over 145 in 20 miles of driving. Yikes. How do the guys in Alaska manage?
If you live where it gets cold you dress warmer There is a real lack of floor heat in my Ram and always has been. I find it funny that my wifes car with a 2.4L cranks out heat like crazy and the big pickup is always cold.

remote start ... five or so minutes of idleing in drive and heat comes up almost immediatly down the road. i only drive 5 miles to work and if i dont pre-start it its usually not even warm by the time i get to work.

- o and my 09 trips at about 30 psi as well becuase its been pissed off with cold swings here in jersey and if i can keep them above 32 they never trip.

I've never understood the hype of putting nitrogen in tires. Air already contains almost 80% nitrogen... replacing the rest (mostly oxygen) with more nitrogen can't really be THAT big of a deal. Any gas is going to gain or lose pressure with temp changes.

Anyway, just to stay on topic I'll say that it was -27*F here last week and my tires were still happy, pressure-wise. I run then at the factory-recommended pressure (cold).

It was -25 celcius (-37 with the wind chill) here yesterday and -22C here today, so as you can imagine, my sensors were going off like crazy. I live in eastern Canada.

First of all, I didn't think nitrogen was supposed to do that?

Eventually as the tires warmed up I hit 32 psi, where they stayed all day long. I figured once I shut the truck off and reset things the alarm would stop, but every time I start the truck I'm still getting the low tire pressure notification (at 32 psi). I don't think this is normal but maybe I'm missing something? I can't believe the alarm threshold is 32 psi or above, does anyone know what the sensors should trigger at? Is there something I need to do to reset the darn thing?
Gary,
do you really think you got 100% nitrogen in your tires...???
You probably paid for it, BUT, did you really get what you paid for..?
Air/Oxygen happens to be 80% nitrogen, the rest is hype/snakeair.
Just add air till you reach 35psi, you`ll be fine

Mine hit 32psi and set the TPSM alarm off, topped it off at 36psi, alarm off before i ever left the parking lot

Nope... which is why I put it in quotes in my original post. I just got home, fired up the compressor and topped them off to 40 psi hot. All is right with the world again...

Interesting EVIC...was the tire pressure display introduced for the 2010 trucks? My 2009 just display 'low tire pressure' when it drops below 30psi

Not sure... on mine the graphic shows the truck from above with the pressure of each tire at its respective location. When they get below 34 psi they begin to flash.

yea 2010 trucks display each tire seperatly and also display its pressure ... our "old" 2009 trucks only give the idiot light. i usually get out and walk around to make sure one isnt actually flat before driving if the tire light is on. their usually around 29 when they trip the light so i just air them back up to 35 as stated on the door sticker.
