Default magnaflow 12588 review

I installed the magnaflow 12588 (5x11x22) muffler about 4 weeks ago. This is the same one in their cat back system and I just wanted to let everyone that this was the perfect muffler for me. I have the factory dual exhaust. I commute about 45 minutes one way and I wanted an aggressive muffler but no drone. You will not know it is there when cruising, but it has a deep growl on take off or heavy acceleration. My wife was glad for the no drone as well due to my gibson on my last truck being so loud. I know this thread is worthless without pictures or videos, but I am very limited in the technology department. I just wanted help people who were on the fence about wanting an aggressive , but not to aggressive exhaust. Furthermore, I also have a y pipe and I removed the resonators. It is also getting deeper everyday. I love it. I hope this helps for someone on the fence about a muffler.

Probably real similar sounding to the Mufflex 24" kit which is a bolt on Magnaflow. That's what I have, same results.

It is quiet with both mds on and off. It growls when you take off or get on it a little bit. It is breaking in nicely and the rumble is definitely deeper now. I am very happy with it.

I'm off work tomorrow, and will be installing the Mufflex 22" kit which is a bolt on Magnaflow I hope I'm as happy with the sound. I plan on leaving the resonators on at this time. Won't worry about the MDS already programed the SC not to use it any longer. Should help with my performance a little, I don't know about help with gas mileage.

Default Magnaflow 12588

Just had my 12588 installed on my 2011 Laramie Crew at my local garage. Had $223.00 total with the muffler purchase and install. Had one on my 09 ram sport and loved it.
