Default Mopar 3"

Can anyone please confirm the following:

I just called my dealer and inquired about a Mopar lift. I have the 2010 and purchased the lifetime warranty. They confirmed that the warranty will not be void if I purchase and install through them.

The two questions I have are:

They said they only have a 3" and 4" lift and no 2" lifts are available for a Dodge RAM... Is this true?

Also they are qouted me $2460 for the lift and $1135 Labor estimated an 11 hour install. Does this sound about right? Roughly 3,600 for the entire lift/install?

From what I understand there is a 2 inch kit out there. Maybe someone will chime in and give you a part number. I have never heard of a 3 inch lift from Mopar but they do make a 4 inch lift, it is actually a Superlift product rebranded as Mopar. The price you quoted sounds like the 4 inch lift with install. Also be careful about that warranty thing, I believe that there is a statement in the performance catalog that says the mopar performance parts still voids the warranty. Sorry I didn't give you any links, I am at work and do not have time. Anyway, I hope this helped.

2'' lift part number is stated in a previous post the 3'' lift is for the TRX the 2'' lift is way cheaper and if you ask me a 2'' i think would look better. 3-4'' your looking at to much fender well if you stick with the stock tire and rim

You can find the 2" lift in the catalog link below on page 245. The 3" is for the TRX only. The 2'' is roughly $900 (quoted by my dealer a few days ago and does not include installation). It includes: Bilstein front struts, rear springs, rear Bilstein shocks, and brake line and sway bar parts.

Let me know what you end up doing. I'm at crossroads as to whether I am going with the 2" lift or 2" leveling kit. Leveling kit is cheaper, but I am worried about dropping roughly $500 and having the dreadful shuddering. Then I have to fork out more cash to remove the kit. I'm guessing the 2" lift has the same risk as the 2" leveling kit, because the front diff isn't dropped in order to realign original geometries.

The 4" is just too big for me. My wife and kids have enough problems getting in my truck. Not to mention, the $3500 needed for the lift.
