? for those with the recent A/c flash.
Had the flash and I have noticed that the recirculate function turns off each time the vehicle is turned off, did not do this before the flash are the others doing this as well?
Don't know, maybe they changed it on the 10s that way, mine always stayed on unless you switch it to defrost or change to fan setting until now. I know the 09s had a musty odor problem in the warm months maybe they did this to open the system up to dry out.
I was around the area today so I went to my dealership (about 60 miles from home) to check out the inventory hoping to see an 11 SRT8 and test drive it but there were none. So with 20,400 miles on it and still a virgin I made an appointment with the service adviser for my RRT's on the 31'st. The last time I went they had to remove a small plastic shopping bag lodged in the return air vent (I'm guessing) or somewhere and didn't have time and asked me to come back but I kept putting it off. Funny thing is...I was told there were five RRT's last time and now after running the vin they say there's only three, including the HVAC flash (he mentioned changing the door on this)...I'm like WTF, lol! I told him there were five last time but he said he only see's three now. I'm thinking that something ain't right...why is this? I guess I should have wrote them down so now I have to do some research to make sure that they get them all because I don't feel like ever going back for any more. The shop was "completelty full" of vehicles getting repaired...kind of scary and made me wonder because there wasn't that many the last time. He also said that I had to leave it there all day or wait all day.
And then I asked him about what recalls were the most common and he side tracked me and pretended to not know. I asked if he read the Dodge forums and he said sure and said that's how they figure what to RRT's to do when the numbers compile. I said...you tell me you read the forums yet you don't know what issues are out there? I mentioned the tie rods, rearends, valves ticking from the lifters, rusty bumpers...and lots more and he said he knew nothing of any of them. I'm thinking what a bunch of baloney, I laughed and I asked him how in the hell did you get this job cause you seem to not know or care to know anything, he he...seriously, and he laughed with me, lol! Anyway, when I go there this Monday I'm going to try and get the same service man I saw the first time when they removed the bag from the vent...he seemed to care a lot more about his job and most important...ME, lol! So...any idea why there are less RRT's and is this guy pulling my leg about not knowing what the most common RRT's are? I mean he doesn't know of ANY so he says...seems to be in "DENIAL" to me, lol!
