If you go to my hyperlink i posted. Within my 1st post, there is another hyperlink to a different post which shows where to install the ballast, and within that post is another hyperlink to a 3rd post. Slow down and read the text, and not the pictures. It will all make since.

The OE wires aren't inside the headlight as far as I know. Maybe quads are different. I know on mine I just pulled out the OE bulbs and replaced them with the HID bulbs. Everything plugs in with no drilling or modification of any kind. I think you might have been making it a little harder than it should have been. But like I said, maybe the quads are different?
Thie wires on the Quads are inside the housing. The wures for the two lights meet inside and only one set of wires comes out. That is why you have to drill. Check out the link that the guy posted for me. He had to drill his, however he was much smarter and he drilled the round piece that comes out. The install that he did looks very clean and done right. Check it out and I think it will answer your questions better.

Did you notice if the connector you got from HID Extra worked with your OEM harness? I got their kit and nothing I got matches the harness, so there's no way to connect to the truck without cutting and soldering.

This is probably THE most frusterating mod i have done on a truck. I ordered the halo led headlight housings from ebay. Then i bought a kit from hid extra. Trying to figure how this is going to work and come to find out the "KIT" doesn't come with the relay harness-still not sure if i need it or not. Also there is a black and red wires buy the bulb with a flat quick connect on each one. Do you hook those to the blue and black(they have the female quick connect)wiring coming off of the low beam bulb? I will have to cut the rubber groment off the housing and drill a hole in it i saw from previous post,to keep the wires dry. Do i need the relay harness? Also can't get the OEM plug to match the hid kit. Its rediculous trying to get this set up together. Any help is much appreciated!

Mine was plug in play, just had to drill. Maybe you got the wrong kit.

I used only what they sent me and it worked, except when the truck was on. Apparently you need some kind of capacitor if you have the Quads. You need to get it from them and it is a free part. Not sure why they do not just set them up the right way from the begining but that is why I took mine out and do not plan on re-installing them ever. I will sell mine.

You don't mess with the 2 plugs from the main wiring harness that plug into the back of the headlight. Once you take the water tight cap off the headlight to gain access the light bulb. You unplug the wire from the back of the H11 light bulb, that's where you plug in the wires supplied with the HID kit.

ok i think i am starting to figure this all out wow. Take a look at this picture though. Where do those 2 wires on the right with the flat quick connects go? I bought some halo projector headlights on ebay. There is a black and blue wire that i unhook off the low beam bulb that came with the housing with female quick connects. Do i just hook those 2 wires on the right to the ones i took off the low beam bulb itself? I could just hook everything up the way i think but don't want to see any fireworks its not july yet.
