You may be right, Gary, but post #1, third paragraph, second sentence of this thread states this: "You may haven't seen these products on ebay or other retail websites but we at Spyder Auto are the manufacturer of these Projectors and the US distributor!"

Somethin' fishy...

EDIT: Actually, after reading that sentence, it is kinda poorly worded - but he might be saying that his company makes ALL of these headlights for themselves and all the other companies(?) Either way, he definitely states that his company manufactures them.

I understand, I was just noting that on the website they don't seem to say anything about being manufacturers, only wholesalers. Either way, they wouldn't be the first company out there to take a bit of "creative license" in describing themselves... as long as they have a good product it doesn't really matter to me.

I don't understand how anyone would want to buy anything if it just doesn't work. I wanna see night shots down a road first. That would be the real seller to me. Yeah they look a hell of a lot better, but functionality is a big part of changing out what I already have, which is certainly nothing to write home about, for something that is nothing to write home about.

If you are curious, Spyder Auto name has been in business for many years, we are a wholesales company and sell to many dealers across the North America. GoRecon has the same product as us, but only in the Truck department. We have more products for all trucks, cars, and SUVs. At Spyder Auto we do the R&D in North America, so if you would like to know, we did the test fitting on all the products. We are not here to bash on any company, but you have to understand that Wholesaler is different from Retailers we don't deal with end-user. This is the reason why we are approaching the forums is to give end-user to have questions about the product we sell and for future reference to better our product.

I might have interest after knowing more about wiring (plug and play?) light output and type of bulbs used. I have the 2 light system.

The only wires not plug and play is the Halo/L.E.D. those are optional to every individual person. Because some people would like it hooked up and others dont. The bulb is using a 35w H1 bulb low beam and 9005 for high beam. Our Projector Headlight meets the DOT standards for this vehicle.
