Go to dealer, I think there is a recall...unless it was the balljoint I goy replaced. Can't remember, I always tell them to replace anything they find that is of no charge to me.dario

all i know is all i have been hearing is that the tierods are the weakest link in all the 4th gen rams. apparently is the first thing to go after leveling and lifting.

I thought that only the 2500-3500's were the ones that had tie rod problems?

Oh nice. Was this a recall or an RTT or something? I don't remember seeing it. If not, it sounds like it should be.

You guys who are NOT getting them replaced under warranty, do yourselves a favor and get an after-market one that is GREASEABLE. Something like a Moog. It will last you much longer than the stocker. Especially if you are running 33" or larger tires.
This crap with using non-greaseable components started in the 3rd Gen days, thanks to Daimler (Mercedes) and is nothing more than a way to generate an extra buck (many of them, actually) by having to replace the component instead of simply lubricating it...

These are the ones I just put on mine. Notice they are greaseable...
