I've looked around to see any pictures of anyone doing this installation, or anyone talking about and all I've found an DVD/Nav installs. I'm content with not having DVD. But I've heard there are issues installing double din decks in these trucks, if I would encounter the same problems installing a regular sized single din.

Here are my questions:
1) Is the a width difference between a single din and the RES radio?
2) Is there a compatibility issue with aftermarket radios and the factory wiring?

I don't have any first hand info but I checked out Crutchfield and they have a half Din mounting kit listed for our trucks. Here's a link to a pic. It's not of our truck but clearly it's a similar Mopar vehicle.

Forgot to comment on the wiring. You should be able to get an adapter harness.
