Default Regular bed to Rambox??

Just wondering if you all know if it's possible to replace a regular bed with a rambox bed? i would think if you could find one it would just swap out but i don't know if there are any other complications? anyone know where could pick up a new bed?

I believe the sides of the bed are replaceable. Why would you want the rambox? I hear they leak and the loss in bed size is noticeable. They probably have to be tact welded in though.

I haven't researched them much as to look at the deficiencies i just love the idea of them. haven't even seen them in person yet. not sure if leaking would be a big deal breaker for me. for bed size as long as i can fit a quad in the back i'm happy. i guess just wait and see if anyone that has them responds to this and what they have to say.

I have a Rambox and I havent had any leak problems it them...The space you loose is from the wheel humps. I have the Bakflip F1 on my truck and fit just right..

Everybody comments on what they DON'T HAVE . I have 87,000 miles on a 09 rambox . work out of it everyday, Never a leak , no worrping. I choose the rambox because I actually work out of it . In a crew cab if you in stall a standard tool box across the bed you loose so much space. Measure the rambox bed , measure a crew with a tool box>>>> more bed space with the rambox . I have a polaris 300 express and a 400 explorer , either one will fit .

no leaks here either, not sure if i've even heard about that.
doc flutty wanted to put them on his truck pretty bad. he did the math and still has the fleet-side so i doubt its remotely feasible.

Why would a CC rambox not fit on a CC fleetside, is the question to ask. I would imagine it would, the trucks are the same, frame the same mounting locations the same, bumper the same, hitch the same, same length and width, manufacturers make these thing as less complicated as possible for assembly and design for cost effectiveness on their parts, I would imagine a rambox bed assembly would fit right on no problem, the question is can you find one in good condition from a totaled ram or sway a rambox owner who is unhappy with the same model color match to swap with you, that should be your question, I would imagine if you got a hold of the OEM service manual your basic question would be answered for sure, good luck, nice idea, I would like one too but not trading the 9 in for a new one.

Ask an auto body shop for a price. you could sell your old bed.
