I ordered them from their website, but the ordering process is very specific... I can't imagine that I could have given them any more information if I was speaking to someone on the phone. Year, make, model, dual or quad, etc.. I sent the pictures on to them, we'll see what they say. Right now I'm running the other headlights that I bought on E-Bay (and I'm happy with them) but I bought a complete kit from HID Extra and I'd just like to have a complete kit should I ever need it.

Gary C. how did you make out? Im looking to order HID's this week and cant decide between HIDXTRA's or DDM's.

Can anyone that has HID's please let me know what kit you have and what you had to do to install it, like relay harness or error eliminators. Thanks, Ron

After I re-disassembled the grill and lights to take pictures (at their request) I sent the pictures and a day or so later they said they would be sending the required pigtail. I'm still waiting...

More than a little irked that they didn't send the right connectors in the first place, and that their ballasts are causing all kinds of interference with my TPMS. The kit that I bought on E-Bay went in without a hitch and works flawlessly. Personally, I'd never spend another dime with HID Extra, but others have had excellent experiences.

Just curious, where are you in upstate? I'm in the Saratoga area.

DDM is the only way to go.

Sorry youre having trouble, I think they sent you the wrong kit. IVe installed 20-30 kits from them and havent had an issue with fittament. However thier Ballasts suck! Im currently looking for a new place to shop.

at least you got a capacitor, when i ordered them they sucked from about a month in. multiple eamil and long distance phonecalls to wait on hold, still to no avail. tried a couple different fixes, burnt up relays and ordering a cap from other vendors, finally just threw it all out. crap. you pay for what you get.

Ive stayed off of the HIDExtra threads but i have installed 7 of these kits with no issues whatsoever. Mine being on the longest at 2 years. Whats also odd is all the kits i have installed have all been plug/play and when the one of the kits didnt come with a capacitor, their customer service was great. Sorry to hear your having issues
