Oil Magnets?
Many years ago, longer than I care to remember, when I was a young auto mechanic you would come across these frequently. Oil drain plugs and transmission drain plugs were often tipped with a magnet. It was surprising how much of the metal shavings would be attached.
Sorry, no pic`s. My camera wont connect to my computor (like me, its to old...lol)
Details: pretty much self explanitory
Oil filter / attached to base (earth mag`s are very strong, it stays put)
Diff`s / dab of silicone on the magnets, stick it on lower middle area of the cover
Trans Pan / dab of silicone here too, directly underneath filter pickup area
Transfer case drainplug / drilled out inside of the plug, glued magnet into plug

I remember this very well too, from my past 30yrs+ being a tech, and it worked very well...!!!!
Thats why i still attach magnets today to all my vehicles (even my harleys have them installed)
Sure as hell isnt gonna hurt anything by adding mags, its a huge plus in my book, ive seen big results/advantages
