Wheel Offset???
Hey guys I have a 2009 Dodge Ram Slt 4x4. I am trying to find out what the offset is on these trucks I am going to putting Kelly FIERCE ATTITUDE M/T 35x12.50 R17 on it and I would like to get new rims. The truck is lifted 5 inches so dont need to worry about that. I did searchs and cant find anything on it. I have 20's on the truck right now (dont know if you need to know that). Any help would be great I thinks the bolt pattern on these trucks is 5x139.7. I also wanted tto make sure I understand that the more negitive you go the more it comes out of the fender right? Thanks again...
Yeah the more negative offset the more your tires will stick OUT. Im not sure what the stock offset. I myself got some XD monsters 20x9 with +18 offset on some nitto's 35s and it did rub a bit on the control arm, had to get spacers. Hope this helps you, i think an -12 offset would be sticking out 1 to 1 1/2" my guess. Heres a picture of mine to give you an idea.
Yeah your better off that way, i wish i would of went with/known better and go with a negative offset. Either way i like it and thanks i love my truck also, white was my second option for color. Like you said black is nice but sure hard to keep clean, especially when they use so much god damn salt up here. Good luck
oh ok well I found a couple rims I like and there -10 and -12 so I think I shouldnt rub with these thanks alot guys... does anyone know if you can get the mkw m82 in a 17x 10??? all I see is 17x9
Stock is 0 but you will want a negative offset on your tires. I am running 18x9 -12 on mine and my tires stick out about an inch outside of my fender flares. Not sure if they make a 17x10 but a 9 wide is fine for a 12.50 tire

I couldn't find rims with a negative offset that had the required backspacing. Supposedly I need a 5.5" backspacing for my 4" lift and for a 6" lift it says I would need a BS of 5". Is this not true? I ended up ordering a set of wheels that were 5.8" BS but they had a possitive offset of 20. Kinda confused me, but I didn't see any wheels with a negative offset I could use. What am I missing something here? Are those wheels even going to work?
oh ok yah that BS is confusing I am just making sure that the off set is around a -10 and I think they should be fine. I wish dodge would come out and just say what the stock offset is some ppl say 0 or +10 +18 it would just be nice that they would come out and say this is what it is for guys like us that plan on changing are wheels and tires...
