LMAO!!! Yes, the company headquarters is based in Ohio, but if you think those tires are manufactured here, I have a bridge I need to sell you.

Cooper built the single largest tire plant on the planet in Rongcheng, China in 2004 and already had a huge plant in Kunshan, China since the late '80s.

Not saying they are a bad tire, by any means. Just that your money isn't all staying here like you may think...

i dont much on the toyos other than they are a reputable company,

but i love my terra grapplers! had em on my 3rd gen, now they're on my new truck. They're amazing in the rain and the snow. They're super quiet on the highway and I'd have to say do super well with wear

I should have stated American owned. They actually have plants in 10 countries. No matter, I still like the tire. I'm done with BFG's and Nitto's. Too many balancing problems, out of round tires, and more. Not a single problem with the Coop's.

Never seen a bad Nitto and you don't hear of one too often, but I gotta agree with you on the BFGs. I had two sets of their A/Ts over the years and both sets wore unevenly, cupped and wouldn't stay balanced. Most over-priced POS tire this side of Goodyear.

Coopers are good tires. I'm a bigger fan now that they own Mickey Thompson and Dick Cepek...

I have a set on Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/55R20 on a set of stock 20” wheels with a +19.5 offset and I have some rubbing at full turn. The rubbing is not that bad to where I would think of getting spacers. Once I feel the rubbing I just have to turn the steering wheel about ½”-1” to keep it from rubbing. Other then that I love the tires.
