Default 110V outlet? OEM part I can buy and install myself?

Before I rip the dash apart and fab up my own 110 outlet, is there a factory part/kit I can order up and put it in?

These obviously do exist since they come from the factory from Dodge, but as you all know, I have the polish work truck version with very little options.

Ideally (if I do it myself of coarse), It would have a switch to turn it on/off and would be wired to the always on outlet. Ideally it would be about 300 watts (just enough to power a cell phone or a laptop...) nothing too big

What do you all think? Has anyone fabbed one up? Pictures?

Thanks guys!

You can buy invertors cheap at any auto parts store. Easiest to just install one under the front seat or in the center console.

I may have misplaced a point here: I want it to be in the dash, not thru an inverter that just sits on the ground/under the seat... I have one now and it's a pain because it takes up space... I'm more than capable of fabbing things up, but I just wanted to know if anyone else has done this. I have a PDRC installed in my truck already too: http://toughbooktalk.com/public_down...VDL01%20Mount/

Thanks

The stock one is under the passenger seat and there is a connector on the dash. If you want it on the dash, then just buy the stock part and run the wires to any invertor you like.

Okay. I found the following part number by calling a local contact that I have and the only thing I came up with goes into the RAM box, which I don't have on this truck
