You have peaked my curiosity Dodge only manufacture's Dodge Rams in its Saltillo Assembly Plant in Mexico and Warren Michigan. I am not say this as a matter of fact statement, it just seems like an odd trend. Who knows maybe there was only a few trucks that were incorrectly assembled around the same time and they just so happened to end up in Canada.

Mine is from Warren and I live in Canada, in fact I have toured that plant when they were going thru ISO certification, I was doing the same in Windsor at he Pillette Van Assembly Plant which is now a flat, actually I havent been near there lately it might have something there now since I heard Chrysler sold it. Silly was a great piece of land for a plant and very close to the Minivan Plant with some ingenuity it could have been one big plant just a bit of land in between to acquire but I would say mine has been good only the regular RRT.s and the Chrome Clads got replaced unver warranty no issues at 2 years since they were corroding and only 14000 km's (washed at the dealer) drivers power mirror replaced.heating element failed and some module..warranty no issue
Anyway what do you figure they have some junk engines or parts and they decide to put them into Canadian bound vehicles? I don't really think there as many differences as in 09, like the grille on the sport was different in Canada, no rhyme nor reason, and it seems they were putting whatever they had in the plant after the plants restarted. I have an early build RAM, had to have the fuel saver light programmed in, didn't have the locking tailgate, but I installed after market lock and front and rear cameras thru a lockpick and got a smokin deal on a Nav unit ,along with the cameras and lockpick allows for rear VES and front DVD while driving for the passenger only of course. I don't have a pile of miles but so far so good and with extended warranty I feel I will be okay since 5 years from now I probably wont even have this truck, I am in the mood for a new Durango or Charger....Challenger SRT might be but the warranties suck.

Mine is also from from Warren and I live in Canada. Not a problem with it and it's almost a year. Done the recall for axle seal and that was the only time it's been to the dealer. So "knock on wood" I think it's hit and miss on these things. My wifes 11 Sierra has had it's share of problems out of the gate but that's what the warranty is for.

I dont think any of the BIG3 are worth a s-h-i-i-t, they`re ALL fuggin junk today in my opinion.
The bad thing about it is, what other choices do we really have....
....Buy a Toyota, or a Nissan, thats even worse yet...!!!!!!!!

Pick the lesser of the evil and try to live with it.
I`ve got a 2010 hemi qc 4x4 sport w/15,000 miles and the tires are shot, the front wheel bearings just went out, stumbles and shutters when you step into the gas pedal to pass another vehicle (yeah thats real safe) The list goes on..... Guess i shoulda kept buying $1,000 vehicles and run them in the ground and go buy another one when they break down. I`ve bought (2) 2010 identicle rams, both have had huge issues. Would i buy another dodge truck....NOPE...! My 07 hemi charger has never had a lick of problems ever....go figure.
