Default 2009 Leveling Kits? (2wd)

Hey guys!

Weather has finally gotten nice around here and I've been hard at work on my truck the last few weekends. I've got a 2009 Detonator yellow SLT, and decided the chrome had to go. Everything is black at this point.

Next up, I'd like to get a leveling kit to allow some room for some new tires. I'm planning on going 33", and I feel like the front is too low without some rub.

What's the biggest leveling kit I can get for the front of a 2wd? I've searched the forums, and all over ebay, and 99% of what I find is for 4wd. Do they work the same? Or do I need to buy one specifically for 2wd? I've seen the Daystar 1.5", but I'd like to get a little more than that if possible.

What options are out there? Thanks in advance,

Blake

I put the daystar on mine. For 40 dollars its a good starting point but it was about an inch shy of being level. The total lift I got was about 3/4'' in the front. I like the way it looks but if I had to do it again I might look at getting the readylift 2.25"F/1.5"R lift or maybe a two inch spacer instead of the 1.5''. I started a thread a while back with pictures of before and after the install of the spacer if you want to check it out.

Daystar makes a 2" leveling kit for our 2wd trucks ans should easily fit 33's. The 1.5 inch should allow for 33's also esp if you have aftermarket wheels.
