Use the 392 or not?

After rereading your post, that is not a hp figure, that's the cu in of the original hemi engines that powered dragsters and muscle cars to fame back in the 60s. Given that, I would not use it. And anybody with engine smarts would know better. Really, who would put an old hemi in a new truck? You couldn't pass emissions....... etc.

And the CID powering the new "SRT-8" Chally. I say "SRT-8" because it is not a SRT-8 anymore. It is offically a SRT 392. Personally I think it should have stayed SRT-8.

Put them on your truck and stand back, see if you like the look. You could always tape them on temporarily and if you don't like them (the numbers) take them off.

The 392 is also the cubic inches in the new Challenger...not just the 1960's era.

Its your truck, i would say go ahead and do it and see how you like it. Who cares what others think.

Interesting, didn't know that was cu in of new Challenger. I agree, it's your truck, do what you like.

Well, given the comments I am 58% for using the 392 and 42% against. So I am going to put them on and see how it looks and what happens with comments and mean looks etc. I'll post pics soon.
