Using this logic, why would we trust that article?

But seriously, after a bit of searching, I found answers ranging from 344 to 351. I would attribute some of this variance to confusion as to how to calculate the answer. Simple mathematics would lead me to use 1L = 61.0237441 cubic inches. Though I suspect there are other considerations when it comes to engines...I would assume this is the reason that the majority of folks simply refer to a 5.7 as a "350".

Fair enough. I totally agree with you can't always trust everything you read. And I'm sure that auto manufacturers have increased numbers in the past to promote their engines i.e. hp, torque.. I've read that article before but obviously not to it's entirety, but a good read anyway.

A simple conversion program gives me this 5.7 L = 347.8353 CID
