Default Rrt 11-019

I just got a call from Ram Service about an RRT 11-019 for puddle lights and rear spoiler inspection.
Well they already fixed my puddle lights, but the rear tailgate cap keeps coming off. So at least I can get that fixed.

The little lights under the outside mirrors were filling with water. when I showed it to the dealership service adviser, he said he had to call to check if it was covered under warranty. I laughed. Water shouldn't be filling up and shorting out the lights when I only had 8,000 miles on the truck. About a week later I got a call that my new mirror was in. Couldn't just change the light? So I got a new mirror.
The plastic cap on the tailgate has been fixed, and broke off again. Plain and simple, that part is....a Stupid design. I also need to fight to get new bed rail caps as mine are warping upward in the middle of both of them.

I had to have my mirror replaced and it has the same puddle light on it because there was a little mark on mine that was man made like someone kinda slipped with some type of tool..ehmmm umm well I believe when they gave me a new heated mirror cuz the heated part stopped working I think the puddle lights from the old one were put on it...I could be wrong but it does have the same mark, coinkindink? possible.

Interesting Post.

Yesterday I notice that my puddle light on the driver’s side wasn’t on. Imagine that, it’s full of water. So when I get my next oil change I’ll have it fixed or replaced. Now since there is an Rtr out there it should be replaced. I know that my Maxi Care Warranty will cover it, but I don’t want to pay my $100.00 deductible. It’s a design flaw. It should be FREE of charge. Now I do want to get a set of tow mirrors and was wondering if I can pay the deferent’s. hmmm. I’ll soon find out…

I've had water in my driver side puddle lamp for about the last month and a half 2 months and been workin with the dealership to try and get it replaced but they suck. It's taken tons of calls and what not to get anywhere and I'm willing to bet that the rtr coming down is what finally got me my new light. My dealer sucks royally.

If you can't trade up & you do get a replacement mirror I would gladly trade you for my tow mirrors off of my 2011 Ram Sport QC. I am planning on purchasing color matched mirrors this week. I also have 1 pair of OEM chrome mirrors off of a 2010 Ram 1500.

Metroworks, did you get any takers for your tow mirrors? I received a call from Ram customer service offering me a new set of mirrors with the puddle lights. I'd rather have the tow mirrors.
