Default Need help from guys with factory nerf bars

Can you please pull one of your bolts out that attachs the nerfs to the body and tell me what size it is and how long? I just got in new Nfab bars and instead of drilling a 1" hole at every factory location and then drilling out factory threaded insert I want to just use factory bolts and be done with this project, thanks in advance

I cant take mine off because they arent easy to remove but they are called rivnuts I damaged one of mine and had to go to a local shop that sold stuff for trucks and they put on my other factory nerf bar.

Not 100% sure you can use the factory set-up for the N-Fab's. I did the same thing with mine and I just took it in to the guys that do all the stuff for my truck and let them deal with it.

You CAN use rivnuts with the N-Fabs. N-Fab wasn't smart enough to figure this out so you have to drill holes that will no longer allow the factory, or other steps to be mounted to the truck in the factory location.

Yeah just make sure you have the right tool to do it cause i tried installing my factory ones by myself but i didnt quiet understand how they worked so i just assumed i did it right and a week later they were wobbling, so i just went to the dealership and pulled up to the bay and the guy just put them on for me for free. But if i remember right he said they use the rivnuts that are for the dakota since they are better he said. Havent had problems ever since and its been 1 year or more.
