Default Vibration coming through gas pedal

I have a 2009 Ram Quad cab 4x4 with 24,000 miles and I have noticed that there seems to be a vibration or something that comes up through the gas pedal, I can feel it through my foot if I am driving and hit some uneven pavement or anything that is not entirely smooth. Anyone have any idea what this might be or experienced anything similar? I am not a car guy so I am clueless when it comes to this stuff and I do not want to call the Dodge dealer and sound like a complete moron (even though maybe I am because I know so little).

Thanks in advance.

How bad of a vibration would you say your feeling? If it's very, very minor, I would consider it somewhat common. I've noticed this through the years, starting with my '97 Dakota, '02 Dakota, '05 Ram, '07 Ram, and even now with my '09 Ram. I wouldn't even consider it a Dodge issue, our '07 Ford Explorer has a very slight vibration when accelerating on different surface conditions.

I thought I was going crazy. Glad someone else feels it to. Picked up 2010 couple weeks ago and kinda noticed it. Put on custom exhaust and now can feel really feel it.

Frequency vibes from the hemi is whats causing it. (especially under load)
I fixed both my hemi trucks by sloppin some silicone on the firewall ahead of the gas pedal location and i also slid a piece of rubber hose over the gas pedal stem behind the gas pedal. I also packed some silicone to the backside of the gas pedal. The silicone acts as a damper. Now its smooth as silk....no vibes at all.... Problem solved...!

Some people are getting vibes up thru the steering colume too. (Steering wheel vibes)
Easy fix...rubber hose the steering colume shaft, that worked too...!!!!
Vibes need a place to die and it shouldnt be in your feet or hands....givem the rubber hose treatment...!!!! (lol)

Sorry guyz, no pics, my camera wont work thru my pooter...like me, its too old (lol)

I have the same problem with my 2010 Dodge Ram. The dealer looked at it twice and told me it was normal. I finally got use to the vibration and dont even notice it any more. I hope you can do the same...Good Luck
