Default new member/new truck

i just wanted to say hello. i just picked up a 2011, 1500, 4 door, 4x4, 5.7 liter.

this is my 1st dodge truck. i have had chevys and fords so this is uncharted waters for me.

i live in New Hampshire. rust scares me...

real quick, anyone up this way can recommend a good place to get the bed liner sprayed?
also, mud flaps, a good place to get these or do you all order online?

the truck has just has the ST level trim. as i get older that stuff doesnt bother me as much. it rides and looks nice so im happy. the only thing i dont like is the steel wheels. they will make a great winter set but i need something different. the stock 17 size is fine i just need a better look. 22 inch spinners are not on my short or long list.

thanks for having me and i hope to pick your brains on this thing.

For mud flaps I like the Mopar molded ones. They look good, work well, and are easy to install. Some people have had issues with them building up snow in the winter but that hasn't been a problem for me.

^^^ I agree, I have the Mopar molded mud-flaps as well and have never had any issues with them in winter conditions, besides, they fit the truck well! I ordered mine on-line, you can find some pretty good deals shopping around via internet.

For a spray in liner, I would recommend Rev-Limit Auto in Merrimack NH. They use Rhino. Speak to Garrett, he's one of the owners. It's about $525, which might be a little on the high side, but with a spray in liner, it's all about the prep work. These guys are pros. Not some kid out of high school with no clue. You can either google them for the number or go to Rhino-Liners website and click on the "dealers" section. Good luck.

I will issue the warning I issue all the time when people bring up the mopar mud flaps... You need to put 3M clear guard between them and your paint or the flaps will scratch and eventually rub off your paint.
