after doing some research, ive come to the conclusion that i dont have wheel skins.
i beleive they are chrome clad wheels. i did not know chrome clad wheels had the plastic chrome glued to a wheel and thats exactly what mine are. i was thinking chrome clad was a solid chrome wheel if you know what i mean.
does that sound right?
does dodge offer a regular chrome rim or are they all chrome clad?
now that i realize everyones wheels are like mine, what do you guys use to clean them?

For 2009+, the RAM 1500 trucks with 'chrome' wheels have a chrome-finished plastic cover permanently attached to the base wheel. I don't know if the technical term is 'chrome clad' or 'wheel skin', but whatever it is, it is intended to be permanent. For these model years Dodge did not offer a factory order wheel that was true chromed metal.
