I asked my dealer about switching to 3.92 or 4.10's this morning while I waited for an oil change. He told me they can do it but it will void any warrenty currently on that part and that any item purchased with "cash" comes with its own warrenty from dodge. In this case the new gears would be warrentied for 3yr/36k miles.

In the case of 3.92's this makes no sense, why can they warrenty them to 100k in a new truck if you get the option but only 36k if you change it afterwards....
