WHY? 12.5- 14.5 mpg?
Even though I went with a pickup, I purchased a SCSB model with 3.55 gears, and didn't go with the R/T model mostly because I knew gas wasn't going anywhere but up, way up over the next few years. And if most of you feel this is bad, get rid of your trucks now b/c I'd wager good money it's only going to get worse for several reason's which I won't get into.
You want to know how to smile every time you see gas prices go up?
Position your portfolio with a sizable portion of a few integrated energy companys with operations in countries located around the world with strong production and transports of crude oil. It's what I did about a year ago. I smile a very big smile every time I see gas prices go up! And so can you.
There's an old saying. If you can't beat them, join them.

I used to drive 30 miles one way everyother day, mostly expressway driving, doing between 55-70 mph pending traffic. During the winter blend I averaged 14.2-15.0 mpg's, during the summer blend I averaged 16.2-17.2 mpg's. Now I'm closer to work, driving mostly through the city total of 10 miles one way. Currently I average between 12.8-13.2 (still winter blend). Driving habits/conditions make all the difference. I remember my window sticker (5.7, with 3.55's 4x4 CC Sport) claiming between 13-18 mpg, so I'm consistant for what I paid for in this truck.
Because you bought a big gas guzzling truck and put big tires on it. It's to be expected with a truck like that. It'll be better in the summer time depending if you use you A/C alot or not. I don't pay for my gas half the time so i dont really pay attention to my mileage.
HAHAHAHA, thank you!
why does everyone keep asking this stuff
sorry man but if you want mpgs buy a hybrid or a motorcycle. if you want better mpgs for the truck you own, put the stock tires back on.
i lost an mpg or two by going from w/e is stock to 34's
