Default New Truck. But I have a question..

Hey everyone. I just picked up a 2011 Flame Red Quad Cab Ram about a week and a half ago. I like it a lot. Has almost 1,000 miles on it. I'm very pleased with all the cool things dodge has done to these trucks in the recent years. It's all stock....for now. My question is, for those of you who have an aftermarket exhaust/intake, how soon did you guys put these things on your truck? What im basically asking is, should i wait till i have a couple thousand miles on my truck before i do anything to it or does it really matter? Sorry for the newb question, i would just like some suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Phil

If i were you i would wait till you at least break in the engine, i don't remember how many miles it is before it's done breaking in but it would probably be a good idea like you said. At least play it safe for now and you won't have regrets later.

Sounds good then. That's what I'll do. I wonder if the break in varies engine to engine or if it's roughly the same. I'd imagine it's roughly the same. But I'm with you on this, i don't know the exact mileage either.
