They dont make a replacement......bull****!

I think your dealer is jerking you around, how would they not make a replacement. It certainly isnt custom made for every truck coming off the line. Check a online junkyard before buying

Full retail for the complete rear power sliding window (Part # 55277406AA) is 745.00 from Dodge, a good glass shop should remove and install the new assembly for around 125.00. The A/M glass assy is more then buying from Dodge at this time because the manufacturer is still filling orders for Dodge, another year the A/M glass will be less.

The dealer is hosing you hard, the labor from the dealers book time is 2.3hrs, even at 100.00hr thats only 230.00 in labor cost to install. My math as bad, but I still only come up with 975.00 total.

Good Luck

They said they could get an aftermarket window but it would cost more than the $1300 OEM one, that's insane... & yes, getting screwed!
Located one in a junk yard & they said it would cost $650 in total with shipping + I would still have to pay someone to install it!! Yip, still getting screwed!!

Talked to local glass dealer & they said OEM replacement would be $1,117 installed & only fifty bucks less for aftermarket.
Still can't afford that so it looks like I might be driving around in a 2010 truck with a duct taped window!!!!

Insurance....that would be a 300 dollar deductible and I would not say I was driving I would say we were loading the truck and the barbecue got away and hit the window. If your driving they might put it under collision or something stupid, anything to get the most.

yeah man i put my quad through the back drivers side window to....note to ones self, dont drink of 26 of rum and than load your quad up...i almost died when they said 1300 bucks for a window. like somebody else said, pay your window deductible and say you had shifting cargo in your box. 250 bucks and good as new. make sure they remember when they take out your rear seats that they need to put the middle seat belt around it so it works again. i never have people in the middle back there and then 6 months later i realized it was trapped behind the seat! oh well, not like it was a tough fix
