Hey guys, I'm looking at getting the Prodigy P2 for my truck. My 2008 had the older version prodigy and i had it installed at a truck accessories place. I'm looking to install the new one myself.
My truck did not come with a tow package, but it does have the 7 round/4 flat connector on the bumper. Is this truck already pre-wired for the unit?
Kinda confusing why they would have a 7 round connector on a truck without a hitch...

Yes, it is already prewired. You can buy a direct fit harness for the P2 from techonsha that plugs right into the truck. Just make sure to get the 2010-2011 version and not the 2009 version.
