Default check engine light and MDS

So i am leaving work today and start up my rig and the check engine light comes on. Ok no big deal and then i notice on the way home that my MDS is not coming on either. Just wondering if any of you guys had this problem before. I was in a fishing tourny last week and when i was backing down the trailer the back straps were still on so my exhaust went into the water briefly for a few seconds before i pulled it up. Check engine light never came on and it ran like a champ all week till today. So i was thinking it would have let me know that day or shortly after the tourny if that caused the problem. Just wondering if you guys have seen this before with your truck.

Need to pull codes. More then likely not connected to your backing slightly into the water a week ago.

Yep need to pull them codes. I fished bass tourney's from the early '90s till '04 and had both tailpipes completely submerged all the time in four different trucks, never caused me an issue...

Alright i got my rig all repaired but noticed one thing different. AS SOON as i let off the gas pedal my fuel saver light comes on. Used to never do that before. It would come on only when the mds came on and i could hear it through my exhaust. I called dodge and they said it probably just got updated. They are always updating. Does that sound normal to u guys? Does your light come on soon as you let off gas pedal? Or are they BSin me?
