For those without flares.... They put a different plastic protector at the bottom of each wheel well behind the tires. On 09 and 10 it basically covers the underside of the fender. On 11 it does that plus runs up the wheel well line about 6" and extends out a little to protect the side of the truck. I may look into these for my 09. Just thought I would throw it out there.

I noticed those too. They're called "spats". I just bought them from the parts dept...front and back...a couple weeks ago. Have't gotten around to putting them on yet. Also needed the new hardware for the upper holes in the spats. I have the part numbers if you're interested.

Father in law spent a couple of mins staring at mine when I first was at his house in my sport. He used to sell dodges so I guess he keyed in on the new feature that I did not even notice.

I wonder if they will actually stop all that dirt spray that gets on the lower fender and door during the winter months up in the snow country.
I'd like to see some pics of a truck that has just run through some mud with those on it to see if they are worth the trouble. If not why bother?

Nothing stops that stuff. The best bet on that is dry time in direct sun. Couple hours, each side.

Not to get off topic, but tire dressing.... Other than the sun/dry thing you can go take your initial drive, come home, get a rag and some Meguiars Quick Detailer and in 5 minutes be back in business.

Here's the part#
front 5182362-AB
5182363-AB

rear 5182364-AB
5182365-AB

The rear uses existing hardware, for the front you also need 2 SCREW HEX (6509539-AA) and 2 U NUTS (6105242-AA). Hope that helps.
