305/40/22 fit without rubbing?
Fair warning: doing this plays havoc with your traction control, ABS and stability software. Not particularly obvious in day to day driving but would affect you in a panic stop (ABS would assume your back wheels are locking up well before they actually do)
A while back, I bought a set of OEM srt10 wheels. First of all, the wheel itself scraped the upper control arm on one side at full lock, so that was one problem.
I had mounted the 305/45/22 tires (Nitto 420s) and both sides tires rubbed at full lock on the sway bar, as a matter of fact, looking at the full lock position with the stock wheels/tires, it had quite a ways to go until full lock.
For me, the bottom line is: SRT-10 wheels will not fit on our trucks.

I got my 22" replicas from factory reproductions. They are 10" wide. I don't remember the offset, but it is listed on their website. With the Nitto NT420s tires in 305/45/22, there are NO rubbing issues. This is on a stock height 4x4. Lowered or 2wd may have different clearance issues.
I'm running 305/45/22 on my SRT10 Replicas. I would run this size rather than the 305/40/22. The 45 series is slightly narrower and taller than the 40 series. At full lock, my tires just touch the upper control arm, but nothing to worry about. With the 40 series being a bit wider, you may have issues. This is on my stock height 4x4. Yours is lowered so you may have different clearances.

Exactly what BRH said. DON'T use the 305/40. It is wider than the 305/45 and will probably have issues with the upper control arm. I currently have about a quarter inch clearance with my 305/45's. If you are 2wd, you will probably need to go with 285's as others have mentioned issues with the swaybars on the 2wd's.
