ive had sirius radio for years now, on two different units. never had an issue with them trying to renew me. i love sirius as the radio stations around here suck, and i dont have an am/fm antenna anymore, anyways. is it worth it to pay 10 bucks a month or whatever it is, to only listen to 5 channels on sirius? it sure is! thanks sirius.

I can heat my house for three years with the renewal notices I've received in the mail. All efforts to stop the mailings have failed for 2 years.

Bad men...verry, verry bad men.

Got a renewal notice the other day. $169 for a year? Sounds high to me?

Sirius/XM is supposed to be one company. But when I traded the Honda in on the Ram.... I called XM to let them know I'd traded out the Honda, and I'd like them to just transfer the XM from car to the Sirius in the truc. No can do. You have to cancel the XM, get a refund, then call Sirius and start that up. But aren't you the same Company? Well, kinda, but no.

Now I'm getting the deals in the mail, but they apply to XM, not Sirius. But I did get a notice that my Sirius was activated for 3 months because I bought a Certfied used vehicle. If they can cut me a deal, maybe I'll keep it, but at the moment I'm not inclined to.

169 sounds as if that includes 'traffic'

$169 must be the price of the crack they're high on!

I didn't renew. Mainly because of the price. Think I'll call them today and find out why so high.

?. My free year will expire sometime in September. When should I start hearing from them about renewal? How far in advance of the due date do I have to cancel? How do I get a hold of them to cancel?

here is something you guys may be interested in:

I too paid the jerks $350 for 3 years.. too much .. then they move the channels around and cut out several of the channels I liked.. the jerks.. then a buddy of mine suggested Pandora..

So, I downloaded pandora on my phone, which is blue tooth enabled, and it plays through the stereo on the truck flawlessly.. I 'made' like three channels- Steve Earle, Pearl Jam, and Limp Bizkit.. I get nothing but quality music now suited to my taste.. AND, I can listen to all the sports shows too.. what does this cost? not a red cent..

your OE radio's are bluetooth enabled, no? If you're carrying a smart phone, give it a shot..

you don't need to cancel the first free year trial. it will automatically disconnect if you don't renew the contract.
you only need to cancel if you sign any renewal package. they automatically renew, that's why they ask for a CC.
