Truck Sag
When my 2009 RAM (20k mi.) is empty and on a level surface, the left side is noticeably lower than the right when I look at it from the front or back. Is this a natural occurance when the majority of the time there is only a driver and no passenger? I weigh about 210 lbs but I thought a big tuff truck wouldn't have an issue, at least this early. Is this something the dealer might fix under warranty? Thanks.
If you have the larger 120L tank, that could be near 200lbs full.
If the tank is offset to one side like you mention, it stands to reason that kinda weight will cause the truck to sag.
If you can see the sag with the truck empty then one coil is probably softer then the other. Unless you have been driving those 20K miles with hundreds of lbs always on that side.....Seems a little soon only 20k miles...? I just put Air Lift 1000's in mine as I have a long trip coming up this summer, carrying a lot of weight and towing my 21ft boat. There was no one sided sag on my '09 with about the same mileage. Can't hurt to have the stealership look at it?!?
