If need be it isn't that hard to pull some wire insulation back and solder them together. You sound capable so it is a no brainer for you.
In a lot of localities these days they are watching or even outlawing items stuck to the windshield so the blendmount and cable is a good idea no matter what.
I dont have the camera in the mirror either. AFAIK, it only autodims.

And believe me, I doubt I'm capable at this! I'm afraid I'd short circuit something!

Weird the back of your mirror has multiple wires in the plug. That is a lot of harness to just auto dim?
Mine only has the two. red and a black wire. Fairly easy for me. Red is power black is ground.

It is a lot of wiring! There is also what appears to be the light sensor on the other side of the mirror (maybe for auto-lights). Will look at it more closely

Ladies, Stealth cords .com made a perfect fit for my V-1. It came with two push pin connectors that pushed directly into my rearview mirror harness. No issues at all. Only had to figure with a test light which color was always dead-ground. Then figure which color was the acc power source. Turns into a 8 inch cord plus bought the blendmount and its very very discrete. Also some of the rear view mirrors have the u-connect mic built into them and that is why the plug has more connections going to it.

I dont have pics but if needed I could take a few. btw what detector are you hooking up? and also one of the previous posts in the cupholder is a pic of the p3 brake controller.... total FAIL. HAHA

Default receptacle

I added another receptacle under the dash behind the ebrake release and route the cord across the top of the windshield, down the a post and around the end of the dash to the receptacle

One thing to remember though is that by using one of the stealth cords or mirror wired cords is that you will lose the use to the mute button that is located on the 12 volt cigarette lighter adapter.

So on that mini power cord you just stuff the cord ends into the power and negative slot with the old ones still in place?

Yeah it just jams in there. But like I said if you really want to or if it keeps coming out/off, you can solder them together. The wires are very small so not much heat is needed.
