Default Lifetime Max Care Experience

Hey everyone my truck just went out of the 36,000 factory warranty. I have a 2009 so I have the lifetime power train warranty. I also bought the lifetime max care from Chrysler Service Contracts. I basically hate having the dealer do work but was worried about the electronics in the truck so wanted to be covered. I basically was looking for opinions and experiences from people using the extended warranty and if they have any issues. The other thing I wanted to know is I know that after the standard warranty that RRT are no longer free which I still think is BS but are they covered for free if they are related to the power train or are they covered under the extended warranty. Thanks in advance for any info!

Unless you paid the extra $$$ for the no deductible max care warranty, you will have to pay $100 towards each repair bill you have. This includes the powertrain warranty. Exclusions like brake pads, rotors, etc are in the contract you signed. Also, remember to have your truck inspected at the 5 year mark or so (also in the contract). Remember, its a contract so pay attention to the small writing at the bottom!!

$100 deductible on powertrain repairs? are you sure about that SAM?
i would be pissed if i purchased extra coverage only to find that my no deductible warranty jumped to $100 by purchasing extended coverage.

I do not believe that the $100 is applicable to the powertrain either as it says in the contract that repairs covered under the Lifetime Powertrain are not covered by the extended max care warranty. I was really wondering how they handled RRT with the extended warranty.
