I got my mopar camera instAlled last xmas I just realized I had a lock on it now which I never had before. Thing is it won't lock the tailgate, I can insert my key (the one in the fob) and turn left or right but it won't come out unless its in the original position. I took a look at the inside of how it works and I think I'm missing something. Did anyone ever notice while playing in there at how it works.

Unbelievable how cheap your dealer is or how stupid they are since the new handles come that way with locks and well its a matter of a few rods, they should just put them in the price and do it right or offer it to you which of course you either would have said what is involved and well maybe you might attack it yourself, looks to me you are going to. Have fun.

 

Yeah I know tell me about it. You would think they would put that lil black piece of plastic there but no, I imagine the locking mechanism was another option that a guy has to pay for. I will definately complain. Its unreal how everything is optional now, lil money scams everywhere.
