Default Puddle light lense replaceable?

Someone shattered my puddle light lens (no other damage to mirror) this weekend in a parking lot. All the lights on the bottom of the mirror work fine. I asked the dealer and they want $100 for the lights and lens assembly.

Are there other options besides duct tape? I sure would like to spend $20 on a lens only...lol.

Ebay. Get some used ones. Insurance if deductible is very small. They are non-servicable lights.

do you know how to remove the puddle light lense? my right one filled up with water and the dealer said i had to buy the whole mirror for about 260 bucks. so i just drilled a small hole in it to drain the water. it would be nice to replace the lense or repair it. thanks in advance for any help.

If you are under the 3 and 36 , the lights have an RRT on them , they replace them for free at the dealer, for water intrusion.

What color mirrors do you guys have? I have a spare set of brilliant black (Power, heated, etc...) with the lamps just siting around. I just switched to the tow mirrors a month ago. I'd willing to sell'em cheap if interested.

I have a post here somewhere on removal, but the light itself is not servicable.
