Well unfortunately I gotta leave the country for about 6 months and I have decided to put my 10 Ram into covered storage for the duration. Other than fuel stabilizer and probably removing the battery what other items might I be missing that I should probably do? I was thinking about jacking it up off the ground so the tires don't just sit there. It's prolly not necessary but something to maybe save tire life..

Also change the oil right before you block it up. It'll be ready to go when you get back

When you jack it up, leave it on stands allowing the front and rear suspension to droop. This will help avoid flat spots on the tires and also help limit some of the sag on the suspension. I've also heard to leave just less than a spoonful of oil in the top of the cylinders. Not certain how this would work with all the emissions/MDS/etc. stuff so I would consider asking the dealer first.

For six months, I wouldn't worry too much. I have a couple classic cars that sit all winter. I take the weight off the tires and disconnect the battery. Then in the spring I change the oil and go.
