Post New member / fix-it -question

New member to this site. I have a 2011 RAM 1500 SLT 4x4 quad cab. It has two cigaterre lighter style adapters on each side of the center console. The left one works when the car is running and the right side is a full-time power source. Both have a plastic flip-cover that hinges at the bottom. The cover on the right side adapter broke at the hinge. I have purchased a replacement cover which looks like a sleeve with a hinged cover in the front. It looks like have to somehow reach from behind the dash and identify and open some small/clip/pins that will remove the adapter from the broken sleeve so I can replace the new cover/sleeve from the front and then re-insert/snap the adapter back in.

Can someone help explain how this is done? Is there a special tool needed, or do I have to remove a fuse first since it is a full-time adater? I was able to pull off the lower glove box cover and get my hands around in the dash but I'm not sure what to do after that?

Any help would be appreciated!
