Default Readylift Leveling Kit - NEED HELP!!! 2WD

I recently went down to my local truck accessory shop. Wanted to get a leveling kit for my 2009 1500 2WD. After ordering the wrong kit the first day, I returned when they actually got the right kit in. Should of walked away at this point.

What they ordered was the Readylift 2wd 1 3/4" leveling kit. From what I have read this is the right kit. It took them a couple hours to install, and then off to the Dodge house for an alignment. After 2 hours of working on it the mechanic came out and said we cannot get your truck aligned. The passenger side is in the negative .9, and is maxed out.

Truck is now pulling to the left, even more when you hit the brakes.

That was Sat. and I have called the shop that installed the lift 4 times today with no effort from them to figure out a solution. They have said they were going to call readylift!!! I took it upon myself to do so, and they said they talked to the shop. Anyways... Sorry, I am venting.

The R & D guys at Readylift says that he has seen this problem before. Tried to point the finger at Dodge. He claims they are always changing things and they can't keep up... WTF

Does anyone have any suggestions to make this thing right? I love the look, but cannot handle the pull, and the eventual tirewear.

Did you get an alignment once the kit was put on? If not then this is definitely necessary when adding a leveling kit. I have a Truxx 2" and have not had any problems after the leveling kit and alignment. Your shocks will be maxed out and could possibly pull apart if bumped too much. As long as you are not off roading then you shouldnt have any problems.

I'd be looking at a different kit, after that response from ReadyLift.....

From everything I've heard, the front suspension setup on the 4th Gen is exactly like the 3rd Gen. It's just another in the long list of parts and configurations that carried over. Now the backend is a whole new setup, but since you're just dealing with a front end leveling kit, it should have been pretty straight forward.

I'd have to agree with WNDERR on his comment, if ReadyLift said something like that and didn't just assume the local shop installed something off, then I'd be a bit worried. At this point I think if I were you I'd try to get as much as my money back as I could and get clear.

Oh, and FYI, I think you're the first person I've heard of that's tried the ReadyLift. Guess that one won't be on my list.

Coil over front 3rd Gen guys have the same issue with the ReadyLift pucks, so yeah, the "Dodge is always changing things" line is horse-hockey.
Their level keys seem to work flawlessly in the '02-'05 torsion front 1500 4x4s, but many report problems with the coil over spacers.

The two local 4x4 shops I have a relationship with both refuse to sell/install the ReadyLift spacers on Ram 1500s...
