TPMS Sensors will not fit in 22inch Aftermarket Wheels
I took my truck to the Dodge Dealership to have them switch out my valve stems and the TPMS sensors will not fit tight enough in the 22 inch Velocity rims, they leak air. Is there anyway to disable the system in my truck? I can buy aftermarket TPMS sensors but they are $60 a piece. I was so excited about my new wheel, but now I am not since I have this issue. Anyone else experience this or does anyone know where I can buy the sensors cheaper?
I am thinking about not worrying about it, but I do not know how annoying it will get listening to the warning going off everytime I start the truck.

Just my 2 cents... not meant as criticism. But how much did you just drop on 22" wheels and tires? If I made that kind of an investment, plus having a very nice, not inexpensive truck, I'd spend the extra $60/wheel to finish things off right.
But to answer your question, I don't believe the warning can be disabled. Search around on here, it has been discussed in the past few months.

I've heard that you can take the sensors and put them in a pressured canister that you carry in the truck to fool the system. Black ABS with caps and a valve stem is the way I've heard the canister described.

Also look at this way, what happens when your driving for like 7 hours and one of your tires decides to take on a slow leak? You might notice it, but chances are probably not unless you get out and check every 2 hours. Its cheaper to pay 60 bucks a tire, 60X4=240. Then to pay for a brand new 22" tire because you just wore out your sidewall by driving on it!
But money is money, there should be a way to trick it, but I know personally I would just spend the money
I found some TPMS sensors somewhere cheaper. I plan to buy them and have them installed in a few months. The light doesn't bother me since it is down in the corner and it doesn't make annoying sounds. I was really ticked off a few days ago, becasue the place I bought the wheels and tires told me my sensors would fit. I spent money for nothing since they wouldn't fit, but the new wheels and tires sure do look SWEET! I got rid of those fake factory chrome hubcaps.
GEt on Ebay I saw them for 100 for 4. Also there is an aftermarket one that is better I believe the name is orange or something like that. Sorry for the half *** info.

The other sensors I found will not work either. I did a search using Yahoo and found some valve stem adapters that connect to the factory sensors. The entire sensor including the valve stem will be in the tire and the adapter valve stem will stick up out of the rim. These are made for non angled rims, they stick up vertically from the rim. They cost $45 for 4, they should work hopefully.
They need a drop hitch thats almost 2 feet long! NO JOKE!
