Hello All,

Have a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab and installed installed a Blendmount for my V1 radar detector. Also got an inviscord wire tap and simply could not find anything online to let me know which is the positive and ground wires on the Mirror connector. Anything I have found online seems to resemble other model years and does not match my mirror connector. I have the auto dimming mirror with Uconnect\Mic.

Does anyone know which is the + and - on the mirror connector so I can plug in the 2 leads from the inviscord?

Try to put a power meter on the pink wire. I believe that is the power. the black wire is the negative, or the Blue/green is a negative as well.

On my mirror no uconnect. I only have two wires so not to hard to figure out.

Thanks Ill have a look and try to check those wires for current with the ignition on.

 

Yeah you definitely want the wire switched so you don't kill the battery if you leave it at the airport for a week....
