Default Outer Tie Rod Recall question

Just confirm I am reading the recall right. Both outer tie rod ends to be replaced?

Just had my truck in today for the recall. It was in and out of the bay in about 35 mins. I have no idea how long this should take, but the recall says 1.5hrs. The work order/invoice only listed the unit quantity as 1 as well. Just wanted to make sure it was done right.

Just thought I would look stupid here first before I called the dealer and looked stupid if I am missing something...lol.

in and out in 35 mins....that's questionable..unless they had two techs working on it at the same time on a lift(which I HIGHLY doubt). I'd question it if it were me... I had both tie-rod's done on mine. Took quite sometime for them to do them, but I dropped it off and picked it up later that day. Plus they should of done a full alignment after it was completed..

Call them and tell them you want paperwork showing that both were completed along w/ an alignment...my

Had both mine done today with a four wheel alignment, which I paid for, and was done in about three hours. They told me they would only adjust the toe under warranty and as I'm buying new tires tomorrow, I wanted a full alignment. I had to ask the service rep for a copy of the alignment, which he was reluctant but than provided me with a printout without any of my trucks information in the header. I wasn't impressed and am wondering if it was even done at all. I didn't make a fuss as there wasn't any uneven wear before and I had to get back to work. Should've had the tire shop do it with the tire install to make sure but live and learn. If there are any problems in the future, I'll definetely be going back to the stealership to discuss.

If I paid for the alignment I would of made sure to get proper paperwork (talk to the SVC manager) sounds like BS..I wonder why they said a toe alignment was covered under warranty.. should be a full alignment.

The recall only calls for a toe set, also it says 1.1 hours.
35 min... if everything goes very smoothly.

Mine went in last friday for the tie rod recall.
Been back twice due to pulling right, steering wheel not centered...!
I just KNEW this would happen...!!!!!!!!!! Dam`d wannabe tech retards...!!!!!!!!!
Going back again tomorrow to complain AGAIN because it STILL isnt right..!
This time will be the 3rd time back, i will tell them i will take it somewhere else and have the alignment re-done.
If its on the money, I WILL PAY FOR IT, if its NOT, THEY`LL be oweing me the money for what it cost me to have it done right...!
I told them idiots this truck NEVER had a pulling issue nore a non centered steering wheel, and it better be that way when i get the truck back.

As for recall, they`ll only set the toe-in adjustment, thats its. No full alignment unless you pay for that.
And 35 minutes is acceptable to install 2 tie-rods and set the toe. I use to do alignments all the time. This job is a no brainer, easy money.
They can copy the printed out alignment sheet, because they have to submit a copy to chrysler, so they already have your specs printed out.
They gave me a copy of mine when they did the recall. (their machine says its on, but its defintely NOT...! probably never been calibrated..!)
You guyz may want to pop the question on them and ask them when the last time their alignment rack was calibrated...!

Hope you guyz have alot better luck than i have had. Everytime they touch my vehicles, ther always worse when i get them back.
Dam sick of these dealerships that dont have anyone in there that knows WHAT THE F__K they`re doing...!!!!
