Default Looking for a little lighting help

Okay so I'm not exactly the best with electronics. I am looking to change out the bulbs in my stock tail lights to LEDs. I simply need to know what bulbs I need to replace. It's my understanding that there is one bulb for the brake light and one for the reverse light. I want to replace both with LEDs as I will be using VHT Nite Shades to black out my tails and I don't think the stock bulbs will be bright enough.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If someone could shoot me a link to a good LED website, and exactly what bulbs I should buy that would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

It's a no brainer - get the Longhorn - best buy for the buck, and the truck you want.

Sure you will get more for trade in on a 4X4.... But, you pay 3000 for it new, and get somewhere between 1 and 2 back ----- not a good investment.

Congratulations, brother, sounds like you got your head screwed on straight.

WNDERR I think you meant to post this in another thread? On another note. Come on now, I know one of those LED freaks is chomping at the bit right now to make me some LED recommendations!

Hey bud, check out RetroSolutionsllc.com ...a little more pricy but I've heard good things....click on the tab that says LED's/accessories...

or check out Superbrightleds.com .....I put these in my interior of my truck and they work sweet.

I haven't done my Taillights w/ LED's, but I will be doing HID Reverse lights haha...they'll be bright when I get it done...

Any idea which LED to go with. I see they have different kinds. Should I get a red one for the tail lights or a white one? Also it seems that there are pricier ones with more bulbs? What would you recommend?

Personally if it were me, I'd go with a white light...http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm check that site out and it'll tell you the exact bulb type then you can cross reference it and give you a direct fit. Lets me know if that helps out at all...
